so when I run findsecdata it tells me there are 31 secdata.bin but they all have the same date in 2005.  it also says there is no old secdata.bin... does this mean the old one is overwritten?  I do not think the console was updated after the ban but guess it could have been.  hard to say what my kid has done with it since banning....

I have a problem writing the flash which can hopefully be fixed.

When I used HDFR it told me 0xcb but that didn't restore install functionality.

When I ran the NAND dump through FindSecData it tells me this:

nandpro.exe lpt: -w16 Patchedfiletable00CBBy00C9.bin 0CB 1

Press ENTER
But when I tried those commands the XBox wouldn't power on at all.  I can reflash the original NAND and the XBox will work again.

Can anything be done?  Is there any way of telling that the patched NAND is fine before turning on the console?

Plus, does it make any difference whether the DVD drive is plugged in during flashing?

First time attempting this, (At this point I do not have a full dump of the nand, only looking to uncrip hd) Im able to read my nand and I have a Jasper 512mb. According to readme of 0.62, do I just need to read those blocks instead of the entire nand? Id love to wait less than 18 hours for a dump, I saw the question asked earlier but did not see an answer.

So am I to assume I can read the 0x600 blocks and then just run findsecdata on the raw.bin?

I went ahead and just ran the tool and did what the readme says.. (I do not have a full dump)

Am I ok to write to the nand with the recommended commands? I have a 512 so im assuming I change -r256 to -r512

I rarely used my 360 on live, had it unhooked for a long time and jump on in Feb 2010 and got banned.

coldandtired: run findsecdata with -rc 5 option and run second pair of commands

Booradley: it won't change anything, old secdata.bin overwritten

I have a 2005 ban situation again. This one is banned in 2009-11-22 but it says 2005. How should I uncripple it since findsecdata is confused in this case.

There is hope for all of us. Check this out! Thank you very much boby2pc for your constant support. Xbox 360 gaining USB storage support in 2010 update.” Once the update occurs, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Xbox Live Arcade games, Xbox Live Indie games, Games on Demand, DLC and Title Updates to the storage device. "USB storage devices may, however, have far greater memory capacity than MUs (at the date of writing, the largest MU is 512 MB), and may therefore support previously infeasible operations-such as installation of a full disc-based title." That's right, you can also store disc-based games to the USB device; however, it will require the disc to be in the tray for authentication, identical to the current functionality.”

I saw that. First thought was that it's cool announcement, but USB bandwidth is 480MB/s max (60 Mb/s) and knowing MS it won't be so preety (certified usb products, capacity limits etc)

Hi BODY2PC

I wrote this some days ago but am still stuck with it. Findsecdata doesnt give me the commands and if i do it manually i see 3x times the 3B673905 stamp. Thats the highest one. Could you tell me the command to uncripple this one? Im really in troubles here! p.s. the dump is good and nothing has been done with this nand yet.
