So after a long fiasco with a CB 4850 zephyr i decided just to put it back to stock and get rid of it. I flashed the original nand, and it doesnt boot, i tried all 3 dumps. I then tried dumping the nand i get errors all the way through the read.

I redid the wiring, i even tested the wires on another console and it reads fine.

I used the nandpro erase command as well and then put the stock nand on it with no go. I removed the nand chip and resoldered it back and i still have the same problem.

I dont get why its doing this

You probably updated since the original dump (i.e. to a certain 7xxx firmware that used to be a requirement for building a jtag nand) and blew efuses, so the original nand won't work anymore.

That requirement was moot to be honest, I've been making JTAGs without updating to 7371 I even made an Xenon JTAG out of a console that was on dash 2258 (original dash from factory, august 2006) and nothing wrong happened. It's been updated multiple times since it was made.

I know it was, I think that "requirement" came from a single tutorial that said to use that version.

Perhaps it has to do with the fact that ibuild actually obligated you to have security files to even begin processing the files for JTAG nand creation ?
