not sure if this belongs here, i have a liteon flashed with ixtreme 1.6, its the the firmware that needed the probe ect to flash. i had a shop to flash it for me. plays fine anything i throw at it apart from wave 4, i have the activate.iso burnt no problems but wont load any game ie lips (only game i tried)does liteon 1.6 play wave 4?. Next question regarding the new firmware if/when realesed due to a shop flahing my drive and me not having any keys at all would jungle flash the new firmware for me without any probes or would i need to take it back to the shop? please move if its in the wrong place, thank you.

To play wave 4 backups you will need to revert back to ix 1.51, until a newer firmware is released.

Since you have ixtreme on the liteon, you won't need the probe to get the key.

wave 4 works fine with activate.iso so maybe the shop didnt put 1.6 on(maybe 1.51) or you didnt burn the activate.iso on a DL or you didnt burn the iso to just 1 layer when imgburn asks when you start to burn it, Dont use a layerbreak when burning it
as said before Since you have ixtreme on the liteon, you won't need the probe to get the key.

make sure you havnt set a layerbreak in settings/write, leave it on calculate optimal load in the iso and press burn, Imgburn will pop a box saying this image will fit on one layer do you want ot do this instead of the norm, Click yes
