Does holding the A button on startup of the console make it in debug mode.  I held it and when i did.  The 360 didnt read anything until i restarted it.  I would like someone else to try it and post if this is normal.

Not sure but you have to do that when booting Oblivion to clear the cache which I do when I press the power button .... it still boots Oblivion though.
