4e10 is the version you should be using. Make sure you if you don't autoload f/w that you spoof source to target.

lol @ fwtoolbox

@ OP , read a tutorial instead of trying to succeed without having to read a damn thing

the code for flashing is exactly thesame in JF, so there's no difference in flashing really lol

besides you must 've been not long enough around to know that FWTB did destroy drives as well as JF, just requires a User Error and poof

exactly the point I was making, if its user error fair enough then you shouldn't be flashing, its childs play. jf freezes ALOT... dead drive... see my point???

I've never had a Hitachi freeze under JF - then again , I use PortIO32 mode for them.

If your PCs freezing/crashing then it's obviously unstable. rebuild the OS!

also the win7 i have now is new and stable for all other drives except hitachi

just accept that it is buggy and move on.

Yep true as true is ever true, considering the fact that i can install portio drivers and everything will work fine, somnetimes I'll turn the drive on and crash/blue screen. after a computer restart I sometimes find I'll have to install them again even though there already installed as jf just won't except it is.
So.... FAIL! :p
