the new 83850c v2 is unmoddable.. let's see you mod that one ^^

yes but just letting folk no, not all july 09 liteon 83850c are unmoddable, p.s what are the visable diffs between the moddable 83850c and unmoddable 83850c

Hi,Im new to all this so please bear with me.
I have an xbox with a lite-on drive in it manufactured june 09.
the problem i have is i need to get the drive key out of the drive so i can put my hitachi drive in it.I have tried to do it through jungleflasher but it keep abourting it.
Please can anyone help?

Those images originally come from a visitor to #jungleflasher on efnet, he was from thailand, we tried to get him to donate the drive to the team, podger had him in pm but sadly he was not forthcoming.
If anyone here comes has one in their possession, please visit #jungleflasher on efnet and speak to one of the ops there, help the community!

guys i have done about 10 drives now all 83850c all version with no problems at all. am using my rs232 adapter i used to mod my modem and solidered it in to the liteon drive and bridged the tx line R707. i used JungleFlasher 0.1.66 and followed the instructions and within a few minutes i got my dvd key and flashed the hacked ixtreme 1.6 firmware! hope this helps

there are NO key dumping holes in newer liteon firmware anymore.
