I do NOT give support by email, PM, ICQ or whatever. Anyone annoying me that way will have his balls removed. With a rusty butterknife. Slowly. And I'll enjoy doing it.

got the error 0021 DVD Drive Time out - Can be caused by problems with a firmware flash. This is also speculated to sometime be caused by a problem with the southbridge chipset on the motherboard.

Please don't quote xbox-scene bull$#!t here. Heh. The issue is the pcie. The dvd drive isn't even initialized until way later on.

Not sure what you did. It's an issue with the pcie bus or something that uses it. What exactly did you do before this error?

you don't power on the xbox during the whole process. Did you use 100ohm resistors on lpt plug? if not maybe you just fried your board?

Using the resistors are not mandatory. On my PC, NandPRO works fine with ONLY wires, no resistors or diode

You can always check for solder splashes or damaged tracks, but if you didn't use the resistors it may be you fried the SMC(nope, not easy to fixm, only a few people can fix that for you)
Someone else fried their SMC and their xbox stil worked, but it is Electronics and different things happen..
Resistors are used as safety devices, not only for people who have a 5volt lpt port but it also helps if someone wires are crossed etc(read the schema wrong and wired 1 to 15 etc)
If you know what you are doing and never make a mistake you can leave them out, but please for all the other people who come here(noobs also) tell them to use the resistors. Maby a lower value would give better results, but never leave them out.

Havent touched any part wirh the heat gun so i really dont know whats wrong Going back to the start, did you remove the resistors and tried to reboot, I assume you plugged and unplugged the power and AV cables ?? you may have damaged a SMD component while soldering the LPT wires

I have got the same problem. Only I'm getting an error 0110, haven't looked it up, i think it's one of those that aren't explained anyway. I noticed that the 360 wouldn't boot when I first wired it up, even when not connected to the PC, this was with the JTAG resistors in place. Then I booted xell fine and got CPU key, but now that I've restored my original nand dump, it gives the RROD with the error mentioned above. My soldering skills are excellent, I run my wires into the holes to reduce getting solder on any tracks etc. no wires were crossed. I've versed myself well in the LPT Nand hack. I've even downgraded to 1888 and rebuilt the nand from a donor with my KV injected into it. i've also patched the LDV values according to people's posts here. I still have no idea what I'm doing wrong, I've tried heatgun fix and new thermal paste on chips, didn't concentrate any heat on Nand chip though.

First thing you do, look it up, Ram related. Did you remove the board from its casing? maby you flexed the board to much . You could try to put your finger on the top ramchips and try booting, pretty good chance that it will boot up as the 0110 are memory related, they need to be treated with the heat gun. Otherwise check for solder splashes or maby some solder that roled under the ram chips. Also make sure the lpt/jtag wires that went into the holes arent to long on the underside.
