there are also xbe's inside pirs files run from hdd.. sinds you can buy them from live.
so xbe loading wouldnt be hardcoded to just d:\ right?

Heck you can modify the auto-aim and sticky-aim (magnetism) on ANY weapon in Halo 3 and go on xboxlive with this to wreak some havoc on Live.. (Just like Halo 2 days where you could cheat your ass off).. You'll get banned tho, but then again if you have enough spare keyvaults wink.gif You know nothing and act like an absolute child. Get a grip on what's happening before you spout nonsense as if it is fact. |

Is it possible to change the default.xbe from a Xbox Classic Game Container?
I don't think so, it would probably require the emulator to be patched too. I've been told that in order to play xbox1 backups on the xbox360, the default.xbe should be genuine which is a problem for many folks who are creating iso's from games that were installed on modded xbox1 consoles because in most cases they were patched (dvd2xbox anyone?). Come to think of it, someone made a tool that would try restore the default.xbe of xbox1 games to it's original state so the signature matches again. |

It's possible to hack anything you want now, you can change anything xbox1 related. The xbox1 emulator is an xex on the hard drive called Xefu. Some games require a different Xefu to run, but games not in the compatibility list can be run(not sure about with freeboot/xbreboot) but by other means. So, with some patching I can't see why xbox1 homebrew xbes wouldn't run and it would be kind of funny to see.
There are some people on this site that clearly have no technical knowledge but enjoy ruining threads that have potential for further discussion just because it doesn't suit their ideals. It's getting old.
