very good tmbinc. you should code a chainload selection menu that is automatically loaded by xell, so people can select which executable/source to run

so i have an infectus that i never use. an older one, whats required to get this hack working? i noticed tiros made it possible to do with lpt port and a few resistors but i have a buffered jtag that i would think could suffice.

Any info on how to utilise an LPT cable surfaced yet? I've bought one especially for this

A lpt cable would be for working with the flash. The jtag could be done via lpt, but why? It has been stated several times now that the exploit will use the smc to do the jtag automatically. The other discussion about lpt is for an unreleased tool that can read/write the flash, but not directly part of the "Hack".

I may have missed a bit of information, but is there any other way to read the nand for the imgbuild script (except modchips, which tmbinc said woudn't be needed)? If so please explain how to do it

there's only 4 images required for each box type, for this hack to work, sooner or later these images will surface somewhere
