Hi guys! Forgive me if I worrying you all for stupid reason. Look here (russian language): http://www.xboxland.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=34073. Topicstarter is said that he CAN retrieve DVD key from ANY mobo even if DVD key was lost because of some f***up. If it's true that he know how to get CPU key without KK-exploit to decrypt keyvault and retrieve the DVD key. What do you think about that? |

This isn't a technical post so it shouldn't be in this section.......so it'll be moved or deleted pretty soon I bet, but can you translate that to english as russkey firefox plugin doesn't work for me anymore. Or maybe summarize what they're saying, if it's just someone bull$#!tting without any real info, don't bother. I've talked to him about that in ICQ. He said that he successfully dumped the DVD key with Cygnus360 V2.0 modchip from Zephyr and Falcon boards. Now I'm trying to ask him for the manual.

That is a complete bull$#!t, Cygnos360 V2 is not even out yet, and I am the only one with a sample along with the other members of the cygnos team. NO ONE else have it.
Timing attack does not allow you to successfully boot into 1888 in zephyr and falcon, this is just some kid trying to be a 1337 hax0r

the cygnus can downgrade and can flash a second nand, it's impossible for it to get the dvd key if the cpu key is not known. to get the cpu key, you absolutely need a downgradable console with a working drive and valid dvd key.

B1N4RY, I've thought that Cygnos360 V2.0 out some time ago, 'cause I've saw new about this modchip on Xbox-Scene... http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/dd-360-cygnos2 - this is that modchip, isn't it? I've try to get more information from that guy, then post it here if there will be something interesting... |

No. The only ones in the world with Cygnos 360 v2 are Members of the Cygnos team, and me.
Cygnos360 has been out for a long time, but Cygnos360 v2 is unreleased. In matter of fact, the final batch of the chips have not even been manufactured yet. In case if you cannot read, the one on sale on divineo is a PREORDER.
Your little friend has been bull$#!tting pathetic lies all along, besides, timing attack does not work on zephyr and up. Tell him to quit sucking up and he is not a hacker.

So what you're saying is this guy has created some sort of time machine, gone into the future, got a Cygnos 360 v2, somehow come up with a way to dump the drive key from the board, and then came back to present day and made a rambling, untechnical post in russian about how he can do it. right? lol

i know the technical reasons why we think it is impossible, but we also thought other things were impossible that became reality, so hopefully there is a glimmer of hope for the idiots who have lost their keys.

Tiros never revealed any information, he simply says that he can fix problem with "To play this game, put the disk in a xbox 360". This can range anywhere from drive replacement to laser pot tunning. He never said anything about drive keys Author just left the phone number saying that he can retrieve the key from MB.
Also he said you have to pay him after hi gives you the key.
Other people on the forum are saying that it is all crap.
Of course it's crap, he is just some idiot 15 year old adulescent child trying to scam for money after getting kicked out of the house |

Tiros is a trusted member of this forum and the xbox reversing community. If he says he can do something, he can, if others speculate on what he can or can't do, that's their problem. Anyone who flamed him on that topic did so based off of being retarded, and having past arguments with him, but mainly being retarded. This random Russian who's talking out of his ass is not trusted, known, or probably even capable of hacking anything.
There is a way to get the drive key off of consoles with dead drives IF they are downgradable via the timing attack, or have an exploitable kernel, it has been documented in the "Kernel Hacking" section.
Do your research before making posts.

How are you planning to extract your CPU Key without KingKong? I have read the thread you were talking about long time ago. How are YOU planning to get the key without King Kong?
Correct me if I am wrong, but no one has able to get the CPUKEY without king kong yet.
