Hi!
I've been searching google and some forums after the simpliest way to restore my ms28 to the original firmware but cant find any good ways. So if you know any way to do i smooth and quick it would help me alot, I've flashed six 360s so I know most of the tools, I just need som guide lines, or a link to somwhere I can look.
Best regardes Daniel

grab a copy of some original MS28 firmware from here http://modfreakz.kilu.de/XBOX360/Firmware/insert your key and flash that to your drive (provided you already have your key...if not, dump it first obviously) gigabite

Thanks for answering So all I have to do is change the Ixtreme firmware in iprep with the original on the link and then just flash it? I have the SAM-OFW.BIN and SAM-CFW.BIN.

Ok, so all I have to do is create a bootable usb memory and the copy in dosflash (16 or 32???) with my SAM-OFW.BIN. And then boot the usb memory dosflash w /m SAM-OFW.BIN, or was that mtkflash the used that command?

that's what it gets named if you dump a firmware. if you want to be sure its an original firmware, load it in jungleflasher or a similar app, it will tell you what firmware it is exactly.

dosflash16 doesn't need to have any command parameters, just selections

Watch it, I have seen you posting the exactly the same $#!t before. you are acting like you have never made a mistake before, or knows everything... I have read some of your posts with wrongful information before, just did not bother mentioning them.
And you think all of your posts are useful and are correct? Neither does your last 4 posts do any good, thank you.
Enough of your spam, get back to the topic

If I flash it in dos, is it possible to use an intel chipset (ich9) or it must be a vai chipset? Cause I can find in bios with my ich9. And to the most awkward thing, I just cant get the computers i've tried boot from a usb memory, tried to differnt computers and two different memorys, And yes i know that i have to change the boot sequence and that stuff in bios . Thought it all gonna be easy when the xtreme boot maker had an create restore disk function, but noo. it wont boot at all

If I flash it in dos, is it possible to use an intel chipset (ich9) Yes but you may need to use a VCC switch And to the most awkward thing, I just cant get the computers i've tried boot from a usb memory, tried to differnt computers and two different memorys, And yes i know that i have to change the boot sequence and that stuff in bios Try the boot menu (not the bios) - some older PC's don't have the ability to boot form USB... gigabite

Ok, so this is the situation. I made a usb memory bootable through some hp $#!t, and then did I put the mtkflash and SAM-OFW.BIN file. I used the command MTKFLASH 3 W /B /M SAM-OFW.BIN and then just nothing happened for quite some while so after that I restarted the ms28 (I'm using CK3 lite) and still nothing so I restarted the computer and know I can't see it in BIOS. Am I such a fool so I've bricked the drive?
