The drive doesn't have any firmware, as expected. Samsung is not brickable, so you don't need to worry about it.
This is why I recommand Dosflash ,because it supports more chipsets than mtkflash. Try it, I wasn't able to use mtkflash on my PC as well when I flashed my first Xbox, and dosflash worked flawlessly

Ok! what a relief  Smiley. But how am I supposed to use dosflash if I cant find the drive in BIOS? And is it the same commands as mtkflash has?

this is not hitachi, the flash can be still reconized in dosflash.
dosflash doesn't need to have any arguments, everything can be done with selections, which is really straight forward.

I think ICH9 will work, since dosflash detected your drive.
You need to select YES to resend command until drive responds. After typing YES, power cycle the drive and you should be able to gain access to the firmware. If it doesn't work, get the 0800 "activate.iso" disk

If your windows freezes when booting up, just WAIT for a minute and it will continue.

I just can't get it to work, nothing happens when I powercycle the ck3 lite. Just keeps showing 0x51, Is there any other way to do it or am I doing something very wrong?  Sad

Intel chipsets are not compatible with the power cycle method, you need to use the 0800 disk

Power on the PC and xbox drive, insert disk into the xbox drive, wait 10 seconds, go to dosflash, and you should be able to flash it now

Well i don't know what you were doing wrong, and I do not wish to spend hours trying to figure it out for you. This is a very easy procedure, perhaps you should read this book:

Just do the bad flash method where you disable the flash (cut power to vcc) then power on then enable the flash right before running the flashing app of your choice. It will take 30 minutes and you'll be done with it
