Pfft, use one of those red electrical testing thingys with a fat flathead driver on the end that fits in the holes a treat, no marks  Grin

thats how my mates got f***ed, coupled with his ignorance and impatience.

i wouldnt tell ppl to do $#!t that could end up giving them problems later on.

the opening tool is best IMHO ive had mine for years and its never failed me as i have looked after it.

Theres a right way and a mates way  Wink If MS has no problem with my opening tool then neither do I

I had to try the snap method too on an old console, it worked but I prefer avoiding damaging it  Cheesy

yes if you do it improperly as illustrated in the video (which is not me dickhead) then you can (on the XCM cases) crack the top of the case as a customer did... - and you won't crack the clips at the back if you lift it in a straight motion (if you busted 2 then you were on an angle pulling it off). I do it all the time and never have a problem...I guess practice makes perfect and obviously like anything mentioned try at your own risk
