I have got an xbox to flash. its a samsung ms28 drive. Its already been flashed before with an old firmware(not by me).
When i connect drive to my computer and load jungle flasher it shows as a gdr3120l drive?

Whats going on or is this normal?

It's spoofed. Obviously the original drive in the console was a Hitachi.

how do i unlock it then? As an LG drive or as a samsung drive?

Use the samsung unlock. The firmware is still the same, but the query string has been spoofed to Hitachi
