Ok, I couldnět resist so I flashed my BEVT3200. Worked like a charm, thanks to rubberdog for the upload and specialist for the hddhackr !
edit: urgh, got a problem. The xbox sees the hdd as 228gb free (ok), but when I connect to my pc and copy over the data of the partition 3 from my old 20gb, when I connect to the xbox it sees the hdd as "110gb free", "capacity 228", and no game profile/saves.

Nothing...the saves and name.txt created in the new hdd doesn't appear on xplorer360 extrem2/b6...I guess we have to wait for another version right ?

After flashing with HDDHackr v1.22 Hddss_250gb.bin i'll get 0,2,3 partitions
In which way i should restore Partition2 for backwards compatibility in my new 250HDD ?
Simply restore in Xplorer360 ? do i need flash or format drive again?

No I think the flash is done right, it's just xplorer360 that can't see the new 250gb partition 3. If I format and try to make a save, everything works...but on xplorer it's empty. Just hope and wait for a new version of xplorer, or maybe use the M$ transfer kit.

elek Did you restore partition2 ? My jasper have onboard memory, so its easy to restore saves and profiles. As a solution you may get memory unit or use jasper for restore partition3

When flashing my 250GB WD drive from 120GB hddss.bin to 250GB hddss.bin (thanks to jelle2503), i noticed something.
I have a Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L, and apparently it uses something called virtual dualbios. To protect the computer from not working due to a corrupted bios, it makes a copy of the bios on the primary harddrive and therefore changing the lba size. Thats why i always had the LBA Size mismatch error. When i first flashed, i had the drive powered off, and powered it on when booting was finished at the dos prompt and everything worked like a charm.
When reflashing i had my drive powered up already during booting and my LBA Size went from 234441648 to 234439535, breaking xbox compatibility. Knowing this, i reflashed, leaving the drive unpowered during restart, and then it worked again. Maybe you should consider this, when you have a mainboard with virtual dualbios, like mine.

I like
For f***s sake, if you don't have anything to add to the RESEARCH and TECHNICAL thread, keep it to yourself. @gannimall, you joined up today, to quote a huge wall of text and to add "I like". Please f*** off. your proving your point by posting more technical info? anyways, i did my 250 today. happened to have a scorpio bevs 250 sitting around. flashed the hdss and let hddhackr format partitions. popped it in my 360 seen it was recognized with 220+ gb free.. proceeded to copy my GT over with a non datel memory unit (heh) popped it back in my pc, did an image restore of partition 2.. popped it back in my 360 and redownloaded all my DLC and all is well.. didnt ever have to use the new 250gig xplorer360.. didnt even know it existed till after. would have saved me redownloading all my contect

Mock how have you backed up your old data ?
as I have the Arcade version, the built in flash (half gig) was big enough to transfer the profile, game saves and another few small things, not more than that. Anyway i tried not to put too much things (DLCs) on the hdd while it was 120gb cuz i was waiting for the 250gb hddss (bought the hdd only couple of weeks ago). After flashing the drive with 250gb hddss i moved the data back from flash to hdd.
