Hey guys, as you may have noticed i only really post when involving flashing, as that is all i know how to do. I have never modded a console in my life lol.
I have a few cases lying around now and decided I would like to learn this. I have searched the internet for pre made ones and they seem quite expensive and would be cheaped to just do it myself but i don't have the first clue so if you could answer some of my questions that would be grand.
1)if there are cheap cool mod cases out there to buy (hopefully with leds etc) where are they? (i live in uk)
2)As for doing my own is there a specific type of paint to use? ie spary paint or something special.
3)whats the best tool to use to cut into xbox case for a)shapes and art and b) to add a a plastic window (also what plastic to use and how to stick it to xbox case).
4)Can i get stecils made online and deleivered anywhere? As I'm $#!t at making stencils.

And that's where i would like to start basically as much info as possible would be great like tool to use and where to get them and materials etc.

After having a bash at this if it all goes well i'd like to try my hand at learning how to make led items myself like the ring lights, etc... I have know experience with soldering and haven't messed with electricals the curcuit way sice high school (and that was ohhhh batteries make it light up!).
Thanks for reading guys and thanks for any input,
muchos love,
Kai

I skip that 1.

2. I have made a guide to spraypainting. Okay, I painted my pärrä, which means motorbike here in Finland, but same technique can be used when painting console cases. Guide is written finnish, so use that $#!tty Google Translate to understand it. There is some strange words and sentences in there, but feel free to ask if you don´t understand something Smiley

3. I think that Dremel is the best tool you can get. a) You can get shapes and arts with different Dremel tool ie. sharp tip. b) For cutting window, you can use those disc blade tools for Dremel. After that, sand those cutted edges to smooth using file and sandpaper. For windows, I use Macroclear Polycarbonate plex to my case windows.

4. Hmm stencils. I don´t know about that. I always made my own using very different materials (paper, cardboard etc).

lol forgot link to that guide.... http://www.xhackerbox.com/keskustelualue/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=3804

.....I have a few cases lying around.....
Just a suggestion...

Use 2 cases, and connect them togheter
This will give you space to mount good heatsinks, good fans, and a correct airflow tunnel (not the crap that the 360 mount)

Maybe is not pretty, but it will be efficient Wink
