Hi fokes  i have got a 360 in my pocession with the Red ring of death.  i get the error code  0020

which i have found a reason which is,

20 - kernel - The dashboard was attempted to load and failed; It was a cold boot, and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed, but it (for some reason) needed to be noted that the dvd passed the challenge/response authentication.

Is there a way i can fix this my self? it cant go back to m$ as its warrenty sticker and foil sticker is not in tact and has been flashed.

Can some 1 guide me on this 1?

I think you're looking at the wrong error. 0020 is very low on the error list, long before the kernel is initialized. This sounds more like a gpu or ram or something in that area error. My best is ram/gpu.

In my experience...it has been caused by either of the following:

cold solder joint (under the CPU, GPU or RAM)

or

missing smd capacitor on the back of the CPU or GPU
