Does anyone have their original Hitachi 059 firmware dump and are willing to send me a copy.
I lost the bin file but have the set of 32 DVD keys for the drive in text form and I need to use a hex editor to make a new one to flash a new replacement drive as my current one just quit altogether.
Thank you

do you even know what you're trying to do, coz it's quite sad you are unable to put in your dvdkey into a firmware using Toolbox (or JF for that matter)... perhaps reading some more guides will do you some good

hitachi key is never touched durning flash unless you manually flashed the key string, just do a simple restore with jungleflasher  and load it 1.51

another good place to start it to actually  read the tutorial

PM me, I will e-mail you a link to TMF's server where he hosts the original firmware of all drives (since I can't post it...) OR you can get that link, by looking through this topic http://www.xboxhacker.net/index.php?topic=6844.msg75763#msg75763, then going through that server to find it Wink

Thanks gigabite and everyone for your help. My 059 died completely I don't have a backup bin for the drive anymore but I do have the DVD Key I emailed to myself when I did the flash along time ago I should have did the same with the bin file but anyway.
I got another Hitachi 059 and loaded iXtreme 1.5 into FW toolbox reset the key to the one I had saved, seemed to work with know problem. Then I went ahead and flashed the drive the key was confirmed in the flash.
But the drive will not play games orig or backups. I thought I would try to use a original drive dump inject my key and see if that works can't hurt. I'm going to try tomorrow.

you really don't know what you're doing

you need an original v59 firmware, so you're able to create your ixtreme 1.51???
i'm lost here

or does it look like you have just mucked up your drive (i.e. lost drive key) .. considering your 360 will not boot games / backups

or you're doing something wrong.. most likely.. likely you're unfamiliar with entering your dvdkey into any firmware (from what i can read)
