Fujistu MHV2020BH help please

Hi my (geniune) 20gb hard drive died recently in an attempt to recovery the drive I bought a brand new MHV2020BH (to try and swap the controller boards over) this failed so now im trying to get my new MHV2020BH drive to work in the xbox.

however the only tool I can find to do this is hddhackr which will only work on a WDBEVS

I've heard of hex editing the hard drive to read on an xbox ive tried to do this but dont know if i did it right, using winhex I opened the ss.bin file and just copied all the text from the file and pasted it into the hard drive starting at sector 16 through to 22 but this doesnt show up on xbox either.

I have the SS.bin from a MHV2020BH drive so i dont see a problem with injecting this into another MHV2020BH hard drive just lack the knowledge of how to do this

you can't hex edit it. the sector data is signed. you can't used that drive, end of story.
the serial is stored inside that section, and your HDD has a different serial than the one in the SS.
