on board VGA, ha ha - you got to be kidding me that's olllllld now

that board iirc (asus site is down) does not have any com ports but you sounded like you were more interested in gaming rather then Xbox 360 flashing ha ha, and you can pick up a USB thing for like $30 (US) and even for me and my ancient flashing PC I can read the key in Windows (though I always use DOS, just tried once in Windows) - I really love that board, 100% good choice there...

And yeah, the board is great. Getting the boxed cpu fan on it was a crime though, whoever invented those clip/screws should be shot. But works a charm. FEAR2 and Crysis in fullhd res rock
