XBMC not playing DVD audio

Hi I two xboxes running the latest xbmc installed within a few days of each other,
The problem I have is:
xbox (a)1.4 duox2 chip header pin install perfect
xbox (b)1.0 duox2 chip direct solder,plays no DVD audio,music I've ftp'd over plays ok,I've tried the volume control on the controller,again that works fine with music but not with DVD audio.I have ftp'd a movie over that works ok.
If I use DVD-X2 in Aualaunch thats fine.
Unless Ive missed something the settings in XBMC are the same on both consoles
Im at a bit of a loss can anyone help

is digital enabled on it, not sure if ms dash sets params?
