Please help me to unlock a v79... (tray won't close)

Hello Everyone,
first of all I'm sorry if this question has already been answered but the search funtion doesn't appear to be working and I'd like to get over with this... Anyway, I'll cut to the point: my v79FL tray won't stay closed, no matter what. So, now that you know the issue, here's what I did:

- I downloaded all the stuff (ix1.51, jungleflasher, 79unlock)

- I burned the unlock image with imgburn at 1x on a CD-R

- I used my trusty old slax (which has never once failed me) to put the v79 in modeB. Upon receiving the Spinning Discs.... message I opened the tray. It went smoothly down to the login prompt. I rebooted my machine into windows and the drive was there. Wonderful.

- I put the audio CD into the v79, i closed it (I tried both by hand and by pressing the eject twice) and after a few seconds, right when I was expecting the autorun prompt, the tray reopened.

I tried countless times, the light on the console flashes for a couple of seconds and the tray reopens, regardless if there is or not the cd inside. Am I missing something here?

Oh, I am using a mainboard that has an NForce4 on it, just in case it does mean something...

You need to press Eject 3 times as mentioned in thousands of videos and tutorials...
