help on softmod

just finish softmod on xbox
having problems with the ftp settings
my setting for my xbox is
ip addr: 192:168:0:2
255:255:255:0
192:168:0:100
on my ethernet card set to
ip addr: 192:168:0:2
255:255:255:0
192:168:0:100

flash xp
xbox
xbox
192:168:0:3
port21
nothing coming up in flasxp
where am i going wrong

it should be 192.168.0.2 for your Xbox, your ethernet card should be set to 192.168.0.3 (and on the xbox it should be set that the gateway is 192.168.0.3)

then go to flash fxp
quick connect
ip address of your xbox (192.168.0.2)
username is xbox (all lower case)
password is xbox (all lower case)
port 21
and no proxy server

are you using a crossover cable ? it MUST be a crossover cable, straight won't work
