Whats wrong with my flashed LiteON?

I flashed my liteon using jungleflasher everythin went pretty good but when I play burned games or the originals it either wont load at all or load than freeze in the middle of the game. what should I do. i erased and re flashed my drive in dos but still the same.  Could it be that I have the 12x ixtreme? is there a 8x version. or do u think I need a pot calibration? please help the new Skate 2 came out and I wanna play it

No there is no 8x version and no it's not because you have 12x and I would say it isn't a laser issue just because the Lite-On drives are still quite new (nevertheless it could be but I highly doubt it).  IMHO it's a heat issue, have you done the 12v fan mod ?

i doubt flashing the drive would result in freezing issues or more heat issues then normal.

12V fan mod is a stupid suggestion and won't do him any good anyway. i ask which nutcase wants to hear fans go 100% on his new xbox 360?

probably the beginning of GPU issues (upcoming 3ROD maybe) if your originals freeze as well. i've seen a 360 from 2008-dec, 3 red ring in under 10 hours of playing.

exchange it for another one at the store you bought, or send it in to MS. or try the xclamp fix perhaps that might fix your 360, also ruins your warranty.

That's terrible.  I have an Xbox that I got only a month ago.  It's frozen on me 4 times so far.  The first was after playing about 6 hours straight.  I assumed it got too hot from me playing so very long so I turned it off.  The last time it did it after two hours.  My warranty is already gone, as I've flashed my liteon, so I'm on my own.  The last post suggests this is an imminent gpu failure.  Should I do the X-Clamp to buy me as much time as possible before my board dies?  Or am I mistaken in my diagnosis?

As a bit of extra info, these games were installed to the HD.  The first three times were on the original 60GB, the last one was on my 120GB BEVS.  This should rule out the disc/dvd-rom.

you should have done the xclamp replacement first thing as soon as you took it out of the box !

i dnt understand tho bc why wood it work completely fine b4 the flash then the first time i play after the flash, act like this after n i have the original madden game and it wont load that at all but it will my backups then freeze im gettin a pioneer burner i really hope this works but i tried cleaning my lens by whiping it wit alcohol n reflashing and now wen i put in a game it will say reading for about 2 secs then insert game like theres nothing in it omg please hep i hope i didnt ruin my xbox.

if it was a heat issue (which it doesn't look like now)then what else are you supposed to do, sit there and let it get hot...or maybe try some AS5 ??...idiot

this is with all back-ups or just one ? are your games stealth ? if yes (apart from checking all your cables inside and out)...from there I have no idea, try a new drive

Are you able to install any game to the HD, or do you have any already installed?

lol its all good man but i reflashed the drive cleaned my lense and made sure the console had enough circulating air n everything works great thanxz alot every1 for the help
