wanted to upgrade xbmc, but first install not fonts 2nd install hangs after xbmc

i havent upgrade xbmc in yrs,really i had it set nicely,i wish i hadnt bothered now,but i cant see the problem, i download through xbox the installer try both shortcuts, try formatting e anfd ftping it, but no joy
my xbox 1 is on all day my kids are always waiting movies and playing bloody sonic and mario, so i really need to get it sorted as i cant get anywork done with them round me feet,i only upgrade coz i havent really thought about the xbox1 scene for ages and my bro had a hd upgrade power failure so i'm trying to force unlock it,what am i doing wrong, its the same ways i would normally work,and it workss with old builds coz i have reverted to i'd like the new xbmc with picture icon etc aphla looks the bomb!
