Hello all. Thank you for all the good information on this site. I have a T/S H943a drive, and I flashed a week ago using the Autoflasher 3.2 utility. Upon first attempt(s), all backups played great with no problems. After I had played one of my backups for a while, I put another one in and played it for a few. I got the "open tray" thing where the dashboard does nothing, as if there were not a game inserted. This has happened on every backup, using Verbatim DL (MIS), burned at 2x with ImgBurn. After a while, a game may or may not play. I decided to restore the original f/w and try a different Xtreme variant. When I ran the same flashdrive with all the same (unmodified) information, Autoflasher gives me a "mismatched input file" (or something similar) error. Any ideas about all this?

Matt

autoflasher 3.2? that software is ancient.

use iprep (not v8 )

open tray isn't necessarily firmware related.

I have tried to use iprep, and have received an error message regarding orig.bin not being present and that it was aborting. I was trying to reflash with the original firmware using autoflasher so I could use iprep to flash the drive again. I was assuming the orig.bin error I was getting with iprep was indicating that I needed to reflash the original firmware before it would flash.
