Hi there.. this is my first post so pls have some patients unlike myself!
Now before i explain my problem can i just say i have flashed around 10 360s before so im not new to it although still in learning stage.

ok.. task is to extrack key from liteon and make custom firmware (spoof) for my TS Fm 28 spare dvd drive.

Now using the CK3 PRO I followed team executors tutorial word for word and had NO problems what so ever- Soldering 2 points on Liteon... checking DVDKey and portio installed.. checked iprep v 001.6.2 for device and io... all correct- Extracted key from liteon and made custom firmware no probs onto now using iprep for my final stage of preparing usb bootflash.

k no prep has done all its work (as ive done before) and now power down pc.
Boot into flash usb - select yes onto dsam 1234567 12345... and nothing! no drive detected. Im using the via chipset so usually connect no probs.

Reboot both pc and 360- same again.

On prob 4 occasions i have connected but when i turn off 360 for 10 sec trick and power up again it just hangs. Im prob connectiong to drive about 1 in 25 attempts?Huh   ive seen something on this site where gigabite says use Dosflash to which i have but cant really find a tutorial basic enough with all dos commands etc. Can anyone help Huh   Big thanks

dosflash doesn't need any tutorial, it guides you through the needed steps.
and there's even a windows version of it where you just click the buttons.

I do NOT give support by email, PM, ICQ or whatever. Anyone annoying me that way will have his balls removed. With a rusty butterknife. Slowly. And I'll enjoy doing it.

i dont understand what it is with these people. i try something first, then if i have problems, i post. but these people want "step 1, flip switch on back of power supply on pc, step 2, push power button on pc......." dude, just do it. try to use your brain.
