Trouble extracting games using schtrom360Xtract and backup creator

Hi guys, I am new to this forum. I feel like I have depleted all resources trying to fix my problem so I have joined this forum in the hope that someone can help me out. Basically I bought a new xbox recently and it came with a liteon dvd drive. I bought a samsung MS28 and got the key from the liteon and spoofed xtreme5.3 firmware onto the new Samsung MS28. So now I am trying to backup games, but I don't have a Samsung kreon DVD drive so I am just using the xbox's Samsung MS28 with a VIA6421 SATA card and the 0800 disc to extract games onto the computer. Even though Windows appears to correctly detect the drive, unfortunately xbox backup creator does not detect it at all, and schtrom360Xtract does detect it, but gives me an error when I try to extract the game. The error is: "can't read alt pfi!"

I have taken some screenshots in case they may help anyone.

Which firmware?  Only Xtreme 5.3 and earlier will work.  IXtreme are not designed for ripping.

Yeap hes got Xtreme 5.3

xtreme5.3 firmware onto the new Samsung MS28.

so you will have the 0800 code in the firmware, but will need to activate it with the use of the 0800 disk - if you want to save yourself screwing around and time with disks...just flash the drive with 0800 firmware (grab it from #xbins on IRC server is efnet...iirc it's in the Xtreme 4.2 package)

It's alright I fixed the problem. The xtreme5.3 firmware that I had on the MS28 was also spoofed to make teh xbox think it was my original LiteOn (otherwise it doesn't work), but because of this the computer couldn't read the drive. So the solution was to flash some original (not spoofed) xtreme firmware onto the Samsung MS28 and now the computer detects it fine and everything is working
