Hello,  Before i begin please dont give me $#!t for this thread, i just want some good replies, so if your thinking im a tosser and just want to abuse my thread think again and sod off.

So, Brainstorm ideas on how to mod the Hitachi firmware.
Why? Beacuse i dont believe in waiting for someone else to do it.
If you want to get some thing done do it your self.

So any ideas you have or any thing you have found out please post on this thread.

Give me real ideas that might work and i will be willing to consider trying these ideas out.

If we can gather enough knowledge on this thread we can make some progress im sure.

all the info has already been posted, 90% of the firmware hacking details are for the hitachi.

I do NOT give support by email, PM, ICQ or whatever. Anyone annoying me that way will have his balls removed. With a rusty butterknife. Slowly. And I'll enjoy doing it.

I'm afraid I don't share your optimism, but perhaps you know something I don't.

I like all the other Hitachi owners am anxious it comes out sooner rather than later, but im quite sure it will appear soon. It would be kind of nice though to know how its coming and if theres any problems or not as the case may be. We all just have to patient, which Im afraid im not very good at either.

Well, here is something that may help.  If you are considering modding this firmware then you should at least be able to follow what was done with the samsung fw.
Here is a list of EXACTLY what was changed in the samsung fw.  If you can understand this maybe you can mirror all of the changes onto the Hitachi FW.  GL!

Well, those details were posted on this forum recently. Why don't they simply post a link to the original thread?!

No need to apologize. I'm only getting sick an tired of the foros attention seekers.
