Hi i have seen reference to this drive being used as a possible replacement for a broken 360 drive. So i am curious should i be able to use this drive to backup my retail copies? (i understand it may require a FW flash) Havent been able to try as it is in a co workers computer that appears to be dead. Just want to see if it is possible before i go ripping computers apart and swapping drives forever.

Doubt it, it is a burner drive...Kreon drives are DVD-ROM drives.
