hey guys,
Ive got a burned copy of assassins creed burned on verbatim dl dvds but if i put the game in my xbox360 (benQ) but sometimes i get problems when starting up the game. Sometimes it takes 15 seconds to get to the ubisoft logo and other times it takes more than 1 minute.

My drive is flashed with Ixtreme 1.4 .

Has anyone else encountered this problem? and what is the sollution (can it be the iso i downloaded?)

All my other games work perfectly without any problems.

depending on how many different games you play, it may be copying cache data. for every 3 or 4 games you play, the cache data of the oldest will be deleted automatically.

ok. so every time you put in another game it deleats the cashe for the 3th last game you played before it. But does anyone accually have Assasins creed (backup) and had the same issues as me? Or is it loading right away?

its so strange sometimes it takes 10 seconds to load and other times it takes 50 seconds or more. Is it a problem that also accured with retail game disks? i would assume so.

And with the new fall updates that's soon to be released. we will no longer have this problem because the game in it entirely will be streamed of the hard drive (optional)

I also saw in a youtube movie that the popup problem is there if you don’t have a HDD but if you do have a HDD connected to your xbox the popup problem is non existent.

if you don't know what you are talking about, shut the hell up. that's the way the game caching works, that's known fact.
and some games copy a lot of data to cache on first launch, so it takes longer to start (i.e. oblivion).
and since you obviously can't read, I will point out the key word in my posting: "it MAY be caching data".
it is one possible cause.

Also: said in some other threads: BenQ has some problems with specific games. Try Bioshock. Runs good in T/S etc. but loading problems to get to the main screen/intro movie on the BenQ.

yarrrr Arakon knows what he is talking about, BenQ's don't like +R's much and have a bit of trouble reading them (no matter what memory device you have or it's size) as was said by C4E.  There is proof of this with multiple games (for instance Test Drive Unlimited). Anywho...bye bye to the junkyard pirate Wink
