AFAIK its code 0013 not 2013
which is overheating...
BTW if thats your console do you run it with the bottom off? i have done some tests with an ir temp probe and it gets hotter with the bottom section off like that

it overheats regardless. anyone think this will work if i take a standard cpu heatsink from a hdmi premium made in 07 and replace it with original cpu heatsink on the falcon? cuz the original heatsink for falcon overheats and causes 0013 ram overheating error.

and why exactly would cooling the CPU better cool down the RAM then?

the ram is both on top and the bottom of the MB, the four square chips on each side. It doesn't overheat unless it's damaged or the soldering is damaged.

I think the reason your getting a weird code is because the little ball which determines if the console is lying down or standing up is touching both sides of it's little thing (so it thinks the console is standing up and lying down)...shake it and make sure you lie it flat again (anyone of you with a working console or even a non working console can replicate this if you tilt the console on and angle and turn it on) - do you have all your screws in ? have you tired any x-clamp fixes etc

0013 ERROR_THERMAL_EDRAM
duh, look at some common bga chips, you'll see they're not all entirely balled (there are no pads)

RROD is a generic error. ANYTHING except for overheating CPU, missing video cable and defective drive will give you 3 red lights. If you scratched across the MB with a knife you would get RROD. If you ripped off some parts you'd get RROD. hell, you get a RROD if the GPU is missing.

*facepalm* the error code you're getting is because the edram, which is on the gpu package, the small die, is overheating, and you have to do something against that

I suggest you just give it up. If your heatsinks are seated right and you got thermal paste on there (not spoonfuls of it), and you still get that error, then the board is f***ed, end of story. you probably damaged the edram while messing around.
