My 360 has RROD and won't work, so I found this company in Sweden that has a robot that resolders the GPU and CPU and after that they put new heatsinks on to minimize the twisting effect on the motherboard. Will this make my 360 as good as it can get?

if they actually replace the solder on the chips (preferably with lead-containing solder) and not just re-heat them, then yes, chances are it will never get a ROD again.

I am doubting about the new heatsinks. If they re attach the old ones the right way, you are good, but if they give you new ones...I got my doubts.

yeah lowering the default reading speed from 12x to let's say 5x, would really let GTA4 (or any of your games) benefit from way less popups and loading times.

you have no hope of getting leaded solder in europe now unless its from a really shady establishment as the stuff is now banned under rohs. but if you were to just reflow the chips and improve the cooling system a little you should be able to avoid it ever happening again. simply drilling the outside of your case and adding a second fan should ensure you never have the prob again, atleast as far as the gpu and cpu is related, the hana, ram and southbridge are all still vulnerable really

who says people that don't only do industrial stuff don't have plenty of lead-containing solder left over?

and just adding extra cooling does NOT prevent the ROD after reflow. even consoles with 4 extra fans and the dvd-rom removed etc can ROD again. the main issue is board flexing, and cooling alone will not prevent that, since you simply can not cool down the bottom of the gpu/cpu to where it doesn't expand and contract at all anymore.

you can cool the bottom of the MB.. but not the bottom of the chip.

Like the bottom of the GPU silicon chip? Well no...well you in theory could...if you could funnel air down thru the BGA solder balls...f*** it is isn't possible.
