Updating to NXE with r6t3 did the trick for the e80 problem.
Can you still downgrade to an exploitable kernel after updating? Unfortunately not, tried to go back to 4532 and it did not work, it shows e79, with the modified LDV, tried different LDV setups and got 3 red lights (0022), after I get some sleep I'll try some more. Thanks for trying. Does this mean the update has burnt a new fuseline?

After installing NXE (error E80) I have re-flashed my nand with an old kernel 4532, no problems. But without r6t3 in place.........

I've been watching this thread and only you and ModInside have tried to go back after updating with the resistor in place. I've sent an email to Robinsod to ask him if this update has burnt a new fuseline and if his flashtool can be updated to set the new lockdown values.

it's possible that you just messed up the LDVs.. safest way to get the right LDV value: make a dump (when you have a working kernel of course) and check the LDV there. then set the same LDVs (all 3) on your old kernel and flash that.

huh.. that's weird.. patch0 shouldn't be able to be lower than patch1. try another dump, i.e. an older one.

any suggestions With flashtool, swap the #'s 2 and 3 in your second screenshot. Its not strange, when you burn a fuse, you need to adjust LDV in any older dump.

Make sure you guys understand that the LDV values are stored in the secdata.bin file. If the values stored there do no match your flash then well uh your are caught. Its been a while but I believe I remember you can not change the values in secdata.bin. Maybe you can.. Tiros or robinsod or anyone else have any comments?

Swapping the LDV as Tiros suggested worked. I tried several different dumps, all working.

I only have a dump from 4532. CB: 1888 LDV0 CD:1888 Patch0:2858 LDV0 CE: 1888 Patch1:4532 LDV1
IF a have an infectus, and reprogram the NAND with this dump, will it work again? ( i had one of the latest dashboards)
rgds,

Well I just updated by throwing the $Update folder onto a USB drive and am installing my first game...can't wait for my Western Digital BEVS drive to come in the mail, actually, I got a 160GB one because it was a lot less expensive than a 120GB...beats me...
Looks quite decent!

yeah lowering the default reading speed from 12x to let's say 5x, would really let GTA4 (or any of your games) benefit from way less popups and loading times.

I'm confused. I have an old NAND backup (linux-dump). CB: 1888 LDV0 CD:1888 Patch0:2858 LDV0 CE: 1888 Patch1:4532 LDV1
AFTER reading this dump, i have removed the r6t3 resistor, and then upgraded seceral times.
Can i (if i install an infectus) write back the old dump and have a running Box again?
Thanks.

Yes, you have your CPU key which means you can load up that 4532 image and manually set the lockdown values to that of your CPU using Robinsod's flashtool.

Thnx for your answer, a little light in the darkness;)
so: what i have to do is 1. make a NAND dump of my bricked box and read the LDV values. 2. Change the saved dump LDV values to the ones found in step 1. 3. flash to NAND. ?

since you removed r6t3 @ kernel 4532 you can just flash the 4532 kernel again and it should boot. because no efuses were blown by the other updates. and i suggest you to get your cpu-key.

aaah... the LDV values ARE one part of the Fuses? I have my CPU key, but it's not needed for now i guess because i don't have to change my dump...
