Yeah, after Matrix launched their PCB now TX PCB seems to be expensive.  Competition seems to be good.

I have also buyed MT1339 wich seems new by appearance, but had 1175 fw on them and were locked.
Seems these chips are made specially for M$ and come from factory programmed?

First of all. USB Sticks are pricy and exists out of very breakable components.

To remove a nand of an xbox is absolutely not the same as removing it of an usb stick. So the short answer is. I've allready tested that and I failed :p

Secondly. You need to find exactly the same usb stick else it won't work. I asked this on a different forum and apparently the nand is most of the time locked to the controller.

And thirtly I'm not very interested in the data. More in the way's it can be achieved

Why dont you just put the nand on a working USB Stick. This should be much easier

I'm trying to do this with a raspberry pi. This board should be able to do the same stuff as nandway.

My smd etching skills are not that good. I can solder a nand to a board but I can't make a board with lines less the 0.1 mm.

I bought a 360 clip. I hope I can use it to connect to any nand and connect this to my raspberry pi.

But even if I'm able to get a dump. Does anyone know how to handle the file system inside a raw dump. I think it's fat32.

Also how should I handle bad block management?

your drive open the tray after MT1332E chip install ? if yes it is not empty.
also you write it recognizes F / W 1175 , it means it have a firmware inside , it is flashed , new chip is EMPTY , no firmware at all.


You saying need to get MT1332 without E in the end ? I never see MT1332 , only MT1332E. have any photo ?

There are 2 different ecc Files. Somewhere i read that xell crashes on some V3/v4 boxes. So you should try the alternate ecc. Its somewhere in the j-Runner Folder. If the LED Stops blinking than it should have booted.

If its a Trinity Board, then it could be that the hana is "dead". This happens sometimes to Falcon and jasper boxes too. I think this is why ms removed the hana on corona boards.

All installers(masters) are not able to put rgh. and me too. soldering chip (as always) read dump. flash ecc xell dgx_rip in j-runner. power on. debug pin on chip led on. after diod on chip stops blinking xell not loaded. not lan not com monitor. allways. tried different installation schemes. Different xell and nothing
