Yay, I can access xboxhacker again been a few months. Secretly, I think when the forum fills up with Bullsh*T posts they revert it back to stem the flow of crap for a while. Glad to access the site again.
2  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: UNauthorised Disc Error on: February 13, 2012, 05:18:43 PM
If you try to play multiplayer on BF2 with a truncated game burn, ea tests the disk for authorisation and it fails the check and resets the xbox. So yes, they have the ability to verify the game disk while you are connected to live. I haven't heard any news about newer silent updates causing unauthorised disk errors.

Just look for one the same size on another 360 board. There are plenty scattered throughout the boards. Find one de-solder and replace.

I have had a few questions about how to detect which resistor/fuses is blown. If you have no power at all or nandpro is not detecting your usb LPT, just use a multimeter switched to ohms with sound on and check each resistor from Rb15 or left hand side of hana chip, point C for the matrix chip. If no beeps or current is not passing when being tested it may be blown, just remove and replace with ones from a spare board. They should pass current when tested. I double check the resistor suspected of being blown by first tinning each side with solder to make sure it had a clean connection and pushed firmly with the probes. So far this has been the region to check first if you find you have no power on the board. Glad my post has helped others.

I have come across this problem again that when I have switched a console on for the first time with the matrix glitch attached, one of the fuses along the Hana chip have blown. This has happened for the second time. I have left all wiring the same and just replaced blown fuse and all up and running without a problem so wiring is fine .This time R4b17 was damaged. First console was Trinity R4B21 and this time jasper 16 R4b17. But have done 3 consoles in between without any issues. Just making aware this issue can arise from switching on the console for first time.

Found the problem replaced r3b15 as it was damaged blown. After some micro surgery all good. Don't know what happened.
9  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Slim chiming or no power on fat console. on: November 21, 2011, 11:19:52 PM
I have a really weird issue with a slim that it is chiming but not turning on and no lights. The problem is that I did not test the unit before opening up so I don't now if the problem existed beforehand. I've done a few RSG on 5 slims, two falcons and 2 512 Jaspers and lots of jtags. All I did first was solder in my usb device to dump the nand and that's when I found I had no power. There are no lifted pads, broken traces or solder splats that I can see. I have checked all usb ports for grounding issues. Even with bridging of points and missing caps in the past I always had consoles still powering up.

What else should I check?

I might try this fix to one of my consoles that is still offline from 5 days ago. Only problem I have to undo for next dash update.
12  Research & Technical XboxHacking (Xbox 360) / DVD-ROM Drive and Media / Re: Possible solution for botched kamikaze with "write verify failed" message in JF? on: November 16, 2011, 03:13:07 AM
I had a drive come in in the workshop with a very big hole drilled in the chip. It still showed up in JF but with write verify fail. I filled the hole with Circuit writer conductive ink. After trying several times without success I got the gas gun out and started prepare for chip replacement by removing resin glue. I noticed the conductive ink was baked in well, so I gave it another shot on JF. This time it completed write verify and the drive is back to operational state even with eject.

So I recommend if you have nothing to lose fill the black hole with conductive ink and give it a good go over with the gas gun to make sure it is completely dry and baked in.
13  Research & Technical XboxHacking (Xbox 360) / DVD-ROM Drive and Media / Re: Winbond tray wont eject on: October 31, 2011, 09:13:30 PM
I have done a about 15 slims without any issues until today. I had the drive eject issue after mra. I used two 120 ohm resistors in parallel as all I could find in workshop. The drive ejects fine, just has a little more authority than before on eject and close. I don't think anyone will notice the difference.

After flashing of the drive with the 250gb or 320gb bin just reboot and go back into hddhackr and do the create partitions 1 2 3, it should show up after doing that. I have to do that with the lastest hddhackr and works everytime..

Tested new 320gb bin today all working fine with current hddhackr and new slim western digital Scorpio bev.

This error has persisted for months and thought I would never visit this site again. Only opera with turbo enabled let me in the door after reading another forum about the issue. Thank God I need to keep up to date with the Russian hack progress.... I thought this site had been hacked.
17  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Is M$ unbanning consoles? on: April 27, 2011, 05:22:33 AM
If true, might be a quick response to the PSN hacked account mess and M$ see's a way of converting previously banned & pissed off customers back to Live - Or the the new Dash/disk format may be released soon and the only way to get it is through xbox live. Who Know's, need more people to test banned consoles.
18  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Is M$ unbanning consoles? on: April 27, 2011, 04:54:47 AM
I had a few customers ring me to advise me that their banned consoles connected back to xbox live. One had a banned Jtag and when he switched his Harddrive from his none hacked console, the jtag console connected to live and asked to be updated. Has anyone else had this happen. Could some people test some banned 360's.
19  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / The wode is coming, the Wode is coming !! No x360key dumbass..... on: April 25, 2011, 05:45:06 PM
If this is turns out to be true this will interesting to see what M$ do about it. However, no samples have been produced or sent out to anyone to test or verify. C4eva can have a bit of a holiday if this pans out.
