thanks for the reply..
I'm just confused as to why things dont work lol.
I cant rip a game correctly (isobuster gives me an error at the end telling me it found however many errors) and xbox backup creator tells me my just cant read the game partition so it will not be able to rip anything.
Then, no ss.bin extracting method works either.. i get those errors up top.
So i dont know if im Ripping the game wrong or making bad ss.bins but i know i am making alot of coasters.
is there a way to check which firmware is on the drive?

Hey guys, i have a problem.
I have a Hitachi 59 flashed with 2.1, all done with a xeno connectivity kit. The flashing went smooth.
i happen to think im not getting a correct ss.bin
this is what im getting when i run c:/getss.exe f ss.bin
------------------------------------- id: 39 type: 3 nn0: 0 challenge 39 not supported (type 3): ------------------------------------- id: a7 type: 1 nn0: 0 challenge a7 not supported (type 1): ------------------------------------- id: e0 type: 3 nn0: 0 challenge e0 not supported (type 3): ------------------------------------- id: 5b type: 1 nn0: 0 challenge 5b not supported (type 1): ------------------------------------- id: dd type: 7 nn0: 0 challenge dd not supported (type 7): ------------------------------------- id: e6 type: 5 nn0: 0 challenge e6 not supported (type 5): ------------------------------------- id: bd type: 7 nn0: 0 challenge bd not supported (type 7): ------------------------------------- id: d3 type: 5 nn0: 0 challenge d3 not supported (type 5): ------------------------------------- id: 22 type: 0 nn0: 0 challenge 22 not supported (type 0): ------------------------------------- id: a5 type: e0 nn0: 0 challenge a5 not supported (type e0): ------------------------------------- id: 35 type: f6 nn0: 0 challenge 35 not supported (type f6): ------------------------------------- id: b3 type: fa nn0: 0 challenge b3 not supported (type fa): ------------------------------------- id: 40 type: f1 nn0: 0 challenge 40 not supported (type f1): ------------------------------------- id: 1a type: fa nn0: 0 challenge 1a not supported (type fa): ------------------------------------- id: 69 type: f7 nn0: 0 challenge 69 not supported (type f7): ------------------------------------- id: 7d type: f9 nn0: 0 challenge 7d not supported (type f9): ------------------------------------- id: 87 type: f0 nn0: 0 challenge 87 not supported (type f0): ------------------------------------- id: fb type: fe nn0: 0 challenge fb not supported (type fe): ------------------------------------- id: 46 type: f6 nn0: 0 challenge 46 not supported (type f6): ------------------------------------- id: 3d type: f6 nn0: 0 challenge 3d not supported (type f6): ------------------------------------- id: cd type: fe nn0: 0 challenge cd not supported (type fe): ------------------------------------- id: 0 type: 0 nn0: 0 seems OK ------------------------------------- id: 0 type: 0 nn0: 0 seems OK
I have downloaded a ss.bin online and used it in the batch with the game.iso and burned it with imgburn AND clonecd and i get the same outcome both times. When i put them in the xbox it loads and says "Put this disc in an xbox 360 console to play"
Not only that but when ISObuster is done ripping it gives me an error count at the end (dont know if this matters)
But why cant i correctly extract an ss.bin? I've been looking all over the net for hours for tutorials incase i missed something but i cant seem to come across anything that gives me an answer.
Thanks
