Does it matter which one you get? I tried to search but couldent find anything useful for "premium or core" or any variation.
I know the premium comes with wireless controler and all that, but the core still has the capability? As for flashing the drives, the premium and core, different hardware or are they the same?

Thanks, that helps alot, what about hard drives? How much are they used sofar? just for game saves? Is it possable to upgrade the hard drive? Does it matter which version of the 360 you buy? So just get the cheapest and then get a bigger hd?

Could anyone recommend some posts to read? I am having trouble figuring out where to start. I see Chip flashing (have eprom reflash experience) and drive modification, SATA brackets (hard drive replacements?)
Where should I start to get the over all run down of what can be done and what has to be done to do what can be done? If that makes sense haha.
Hard to jump in to a new scene, can never tell where to start : \

Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / New to the scene. Few questions

Hello everyone, I am new to the 360 scene but had a few questions.
I noticed there are already hacks and mods for the 360 which is great news. But I had a questions on, I guess you could call it backing up games, but not quite.
With my ps2, I use a program to take my games and save them to a ps2 harddrive and play them straight off that. This Greatly reduces my load times, and I dont have to keep switching cds. Is there anything like that yet for the 360? I read much on mod chips and playing burned games, but thats not exactly what I am looking for. I pay for all my games, I just hate using the cd's if I dont have to.
Cant wait to play Dead Rising. I hear its great! <3 Zombie games.
If anyone can help out I appreciate it. I apologize if this post sounds like an illegal use of games and burning, but I technically dont want to burn anything, thats just another cd I would have to keep track of. >_<
p.s. I have not bought the 360 yet, was trying to get all the nessecary info first. I see alot talking about different drives. Do the 360s come with different drives and you need a certian one to do certian things with? If so what one do you want and how do you know the difference? Or are they talking about 3rd part drives you can install like in the old xbox where you have it connected out of the box and all that?
