FAKE!
I am sure it’s real. It’s just a dual firmware mod and a dumb one to considering the glue that’s all over the flash chip that’s not so easily removed.
402  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Xbox back up DVD-R or DL? on: June 26, 2006, 01:49:42 PM
Yes they have to be on DL dvd's. The hack requires a perfect 1:1 backup, so there will be a large amount of dummy space making it over 6 gigs.
403  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Idea for an app for matching SS to ISO on: June 24, 2006, 08:14:22 PM
I think thats okay, what do you other mod's think?
404  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Idea for an app for matching SS to ISO on: June 24, 2006, 07:22:01 PM
Security Sectors do contain copyrighted material, so any bytes taken from them would still be illegal. So any sharing of a few bytes would not be okay and program that creates security sectors would not be allowed on this site. Checksum/md5 would be okay, but any sharing of Security Sectors would not be allowed.
405  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Idea for an app for matching SS to ISO on: June 24, 2006, 06:49:48 PM
TSS, sorry I did not notice you said anything I tend to ignore some messages/topics that don't require support or awnsers to questions. You can upload it, I don't see any problem in comparing a SS you made yourself via a checksum or MD5 to make sure you don't waste a expensive DL disc.
406  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Crosswire Faults... on: June 24, 2006, 05:38:44 PM
So crossing 0 and 9 for more than a second will fry the drive?
Crossing the wires for any amount of time could potentially kill the drive. Its not safe no matter how long you hold the wires.
407  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Help with drive swap on: June 24, 2006, 05:36:39 PM
The samsung firmware doesn't need to be encrypted before flashing with mtkflash.
408  General / XboxHacker Site Discussion / Re: newbie needing help on: June 24, 2006, 03:30:23 PM
1. Your posting totaly the wrong section
2. The files you are asking for may contain copyrighted material. Do not ask for such files in this forum.
409  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Help with drive swap on: June 24, 2006, 03:06:10 PM
Yep, sounds about right. Make sure you have the proper or it will not work currectly.
410  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Drive staying Ejected on: June 24, 2006, 02:40:03 PM
Don't ask for files in this forum!

You can do the flash over the old one, read every word carefully. If you see failed anywhere, do it again and again till you don't see failed anywhere.
411  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Drive staying Ejected on: June 24, 2006, 02:25:19 PM
Sounds like a bad flash or damage from the crosswire method. Try flashing it again and see if that straightens it out.
412  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: After crossing wires method, bios doesn't detect on: June 24, 2006, 02:03:52 PM
I then turn on my pc, and then my bios doesn't even recognize it. WTF is going on?
Sounds like you fried the drive, if you read around the forums your not the only one. Should have never attempted this method in first place..
413  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Oh no! Bricked Samsung Drive? on: June 24, 2006, 01:56:11 PM
Sounds like your floppy is at fault, follow the recovery method with a new floppy.
414  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: ETech4Sale.com! 2nd time my RMA came back with a dead drive! on: June 23, 2006, 09:32:43 PM
xsirxx, at least you got your drive, I ordered my about a week now, Etech took my money from my credit card the next day I ordered, since then I haven't heard from them, I emailed them a couple of emails and still got not reply.
SailorM, they may have a e-mail system but they don't use it. You will never get a answer, if you do I would be surprised. Call them a few times till you get a straight answer out of them if possible. Their closed now till Monday but call them Monday morning and see what the deal is.

I said to use KDX 1.5, and paste your key into the same firmware as you edited before. Because KDX will only work after certian changes are made. And those changes were made when you hex edited your buddys key into that firmware. Read carefully!

Just use kdx 1.5, and open the firmware with your buddies key in it and paste your key into that.

About this error, did you press the button on the xectuer kit like I told you not to before?
Also whats the error number?
418  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Dvdrom Laser replacement? on: June 23, 2006, 07:15:15 PM
They are the exact same. Just swap the little piece that connects to the motor. There’s one screw on the bottom of the laser.
419  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: hexeditor on: June 23, 2006, 06:56:11 PM
Just use kdx 1.5, and open the firmware with you buddies key in it and paste your key into that. It will work flawlessly. You can't brick a Samsung unless you plug the power cable in backwards or something dumb. You can always reflash no matter what so don't worry about it.

Make sure you backup your firmware first in a few safe places, so you don't lose your key!

Edit: Also try posting in already made topics. I can find your questions just as easy if you post in your previous topic.

Thanks
