Are you sure you were falling off the top of the xmas tree and not your high horse? I have had to copy to a usb drive then to my xbox drive via fsd - laborious but a little quicker.

Hi, I've decided to upgrade my hdd to a 3.5" 500gb and have got it working fine and formatted it with my jtag xbox but I'm stumped as to how I transfer my backups onto the hard drive now. When I had the same drive in a usb caddy I just formatted it to FAT32 and I was away. Now it is formatted as a xbox 360 hdd it doesn't show up in windows (obviously) so I'm not sure how to copy my previous backups back over to the drive. It shows up in horizon.exe but I'm unable to alter the folder structure. It doesn't show up in xport360 or USB XTAF explorer. I've tried to transfer them by FTP but 500GB at 1.5MB/s is going to take forever. I'm sure this is a simple fix but I am out of ideas. Hope you can help! Thanks

Ok, now that Multibuilder has been released the CB 4578 issue has been fixed yet I am having the same issue. I can boot xell with eject but can't boot dash, I can't even hear the fan speed changing. I'm not sure I'd be able to. I've used the SMC.bin from my ECC creation in python and done a manual build in ggBuild_0.33b. But it still won't boot into dashboard. Here is my log. What CPLD board are you using? can you post pictures of your board and the connections you have soldered? I used the ngzhang coolrunner 2 board and the resistors to remove and bridge were different to those in gligli's diagram.

No soldering required. To get right SMC file for building of zephyr, etc fat xells, do the following: 1. Download http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9O2ZCC9W (thanks go to oliagyok360 for that) 2. Load nand.bin file into 360 Flash Tool v0.97. Can be found here: http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/xbox360pc/nandtools/360_Flash_Tool_v0.97.rar 3. Press Extract, check SMC, select folder and press OK. 4. You will get SMC folder with the file: SMC_dec.bin Use this file to build xell for fats like that: c:\Python27>python common\imgbuild\build.py nand.bin SMC_dec.bin common\cdxell\CDjasper common\xell\xell-gggggg.bin PS: Don't forget to change build.py if you are building for fats too. You need to change secret_1BL = "" to secret_1BL = "\xDD\x88\xAD\x0C\x9E\xD6\x69\xE7\xB5\x67\x94\xFB\x68\x56\x3E\xFA"

Whatever I do I cannot get my zephyr to boot the glitch ggbuild dash. If I flash xell it boots straight away. This is what I have done. 1 used x360 dump tool to extract SMC and KV 2 renamed smc_dec.bin to smc.bin and KV_dec.bin to KV.bin and moved to my360 folder in easy ggbuild folder 3 copied my CPU key to CPUkey.txt and placed in my360 folder 4 Got cfldv value from x360 dump tool and written into options.ini 5 copied nand.bin to my360 folder and renamed to nanddump.bin 6 ran easy ggbuild 7 flashed upflash.bin to nand with -w16 command 8 start up console 9 fail What am I missing? Please help as I've been stuck on this for two nights!

Hi, Noob alert. I'm working through the RGH but am stuck on Python-Crypto. The guide says to install using default settings and shows a graphic of a MSI type installer, however the download is for a .tar file which has no install files when extracted. The only thing close is a setup.py file, which when clicked flashes a dos window briefly. Any ideas what I have missed? Thanks!
