Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Corona Failed Lost Nand
|

Ok so I'm not a newbie at this but was up late and totally didn't think about what I was doing. Read the nand twice, both good reads, created ecc and flashed nand... Here's where the mishap happens. A customer comes over to get his rgh unit updates, so I open jrunner and load his files and update his dash. Well jrunner moves all files from output along with the new updflash.bin to a new folder and me not thinking just moved his updflash.bin file to his folder and deleted the new folder it created... Well needless to say that my nanddump1 and nanddump2.bin's were in that folder from being moved from the output directory and my nand is now gone.. Not a total loss as I was going to put a 9 series liteon in it anyway, but if someone can help me it would be much appreciated. If I'm not mistaken I would need my nand rebuild with a donor file correct? If someone could help me with where I might find a corona donor so early in the release I would be very greatful. I've tried 3 different data recovery softwares and I can find files deleted from last year but to find my nanddumps deleted last night is seeming impossible. I have successfully glitched my box and have the cpukey/dvdkey but without this nand it's kinda just garbage for the time being Vc is the Brazilian Outerspace? Have you tried using ecc donor (I'm pretty sure it does not work)? Vc é o brasileiro do Outerspace? Já tentou usar ecc doador (eu tenho quase certeza que não funciona)?

Hey!
I havent been using my xbox lately, but now I have bought skylander, spyros adventure. But when i am trying to play the game, my xbox tells me it has to update to be abel to play the game, and when i try to update, i get this message:
status code 23ef-3cd6-1380-2203-c000-0001.
I have googled it, but cant seem to find anykind of help, not on the xbox360 website either. I have tried to the update with xbox live and with usb, but it wont work.
Help me anyone?
1º Install OFW or CFW LT3.0. 2º Insert a pendrive, configured as FAT32, Dashboard Version 2.0.15574.0. 3º Place the console to finish it and solve the problem. I look back.

Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Slim xbox chimes but doesn't boot
|

I was given an xbox360 slim that would not boot.
The console had never been opened or modified in any way all seals were intact.
I opened the console to inspect the mobo for burned items etc but the console is mint.
The console chimes when the power or eject button are pressed and the fan pulses for less than a second but fails to spin.
I have tried 3 different psu's all have same result.
Customer said he had previous PSU issues with it overheating and he had replaced the PSU with a cheap china clone and it worked for a few days then started doing what it does now.
I am assuming the bad PSU had blown something on the board but I have no idea where to even start.
Has anyone ever seen this issue and have any pointers as to where to start looking?
I'd create a thread right now on this subject. I have a slim in the same condition as yours: turn on, giving a pulse in the cooler, and off (this in a time less than 2s). The console was functioning normally with the original source. It burned and a customer bought to replace the china (very cheap). He used a few days and ended up with this defect in the console. I tried post monitor on board and got these codes: NandPro v3.0a by Tiros
Looking for usb interface device Post D1 Post F1 Post F3 Post FB Post 7B Post 3B Post 2B Post 3A Post 38 Post 3C Post BC Post FC Post F0 Post F4 Post FC Post 40 Post 44 Post 54 Post FC Post E0 Post E4 Post FC Post 00 Post FF FF = Fatal error. Does anyone know the codes mean?I'll take the card into a more knowledgeable fellow electronics. If it results inform get here.

Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / [Possible solution] Jasper 3rl/0022[some causes] after/during Reset Glitch.
|
on: May 19, 2012, 12:12:33 AM
|
I burned the board and I was shocked because of the soldering iron. I had to spend time apart from the question whether it was to dump the NAND. When in doubt try a donor of a jasper ECC with the same characteristic. I noticed that the console did the glitch, but without raising the Xell (with the meter is possible to confirm easily the glitch). With the original NAND 3rl/0022 gave the console after five attempts to reset the cooler (each trial occurred in 5s. It is time to give the total error is approximately 25 seconds). From what I saw there that quickly presents 3rl/0022 jasper and these cases can not confirm that the solution works.I tested the resistor near the point of CPU_PLL and he is perfect, 10K. I took advantage and measure the continuity of this point and also all normal. Do not need this fix already known. I was sure that the problem was hardware. I took a colleague who specializes in reballing and he began changing the Southbrigde and HANA, but continued the same mistake (did not change anything in the reset of the cooler). Finally he changed the CPU and NAND chip. The console has life again. In my case, said that the Tiros are right too. You fried the input protection diode on yer CPU, game over. Dont know how you did it, but I see people using series caps on this line, and thats a bad idea. A series cap, AC couples the signal in to the cpu, causing negative voltage swings, that need to be absorbed by the protection diodes. An overvoltage condition, as well as powering the line, with the cpu unpowered can also cause this. Witness the assorted southbridges with blown SPI ports for the same reason. I was lucky because the new CPU+NAND gave me a possible JTAG console. If it works for you to post the result here. Just confirming important details
* Cooler resets every five second and presents 3rl/0022 after five attempts (takes about 25 seconds).
* With image_00000000.ecc installed was possible to confirm the boot with a multimeter (Glitch chip + 100nF CPU_PLL).
I hope to help someone. I'm no expert on the subject.

I think the problem is southbrigde have detonated it when I took and put the chip with double sided tape. DVD timeout is not because the drive is good.
But I was wondering if this would give the inversion problem.

Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Jasper BB 512mb ROD 0021 during RGH
|

Thanked those who can help. RGH did a 512 BB in Jasper. Delivered to the customer. After a week he said the island could not longer boot. I tried several changes in wire CPU_RESET (size and position), but nothing. I decided to return to the original NAND. How was tired just inverting the pair of wires YELLOW / BLUE by GREEN / WHITE at the time of writing the NAND (I use the QSB's 360nandflasher). I fixed the error and wrote the original dump. When I called after 3 seconds thing ROD 0021. I searched the internet but not sure of 0021. It could have been a reversal of wires cause the ROD? I believe that the reversal was not because they are only signs. Have cleaned the plate a bit, but still the same. Who can help I am grateful. Resolvi voltar a NAND original. Quem poder ajudar fico grato.

Thanks for the reply, l_oliveira (I thought nobody would answer me). It would be loss of time I look for components open or short(Type diode, transistor or resistor)?
Obrigado pela resposta, l_oliveira (pensei que ninguém iria me responder). Seria perda de tempo eu procurar componentes aberto ou em curto(Tipo diodo, transistor ou resistores)?

Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Jasper RGH Freezing issues

Just tried that exact length and arched up like that but same issue freezing in Xell and on FSD dash
Friend boflc as I also said I'm pretty sure it's interference in CPU_RESET. Please see how is my installation of wires and if possible try to imitate it. Leave the wires separated from each other near the IC glitch (Glitch chip). I await response. note: the plate by interference always picked up so far the use CPU_RESET above the board. It works perfectly.
