41  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Bad media read...Hitachi possible solution...but need some hacking to do ! on: July 20, 2006, 12:22:18 PM
Ive personally backed up about 10 games with SS's found on the internet... they all work with a trick (100% of the time) and about 30% of the time they work without a trick. I never get the "Use this disc in a 360" error, only the open tray error... I thought that the "Open this disc in a 360 error" was related to the SS not the media recognition...
My setup
360 = 46D
RW  = Pioneer 111D (fw 8.19 tdb)
DL = Verbs

made discs with wxripper method with SS merger 1.6 and web SS's

Has anyone got 100% boot from the dash? IE playing a game, ejecting it, going back to the dash and then putting a backup in and having it recognized? If so what firmware do you have on your Pioneer 111D?
43  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Alternative FW for Samsung SH-D162C to be released soon.... on: July 17, 2006, 07:57:19 PM
Just to clarify, I mean help with this firmware, not help with something you can read about by looking... if you can't figure it out by reading around here, you should take your 360 apart... you should play yatzee... accually that might be confusing for said individuals... try x's and o's or flipping a coin.

From what I understand you would have to change the keys everytime anyways. Get a memory card and put your account on there... much easier to switch that... much easier

Ummm... I'm pretty sure you can extract working SS.bin with the f900 firmware but you need a 47 drive...

Hmmm... so what your telling me is that you bricked your drive and now you want me to test out the same FW? hmmm....

55  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: firmware f900 for hitachi 47: for extract Security Sectors on: June 28, 2006, 09:23:16 AM
Im no expert but im pretty sure the low boot rate is caused by the drive being unable to read the SS before the dashboard times out.

Solution? faster reading or longer timeout.

IMO

I personally havent heard of anyone have troubles with King Kong, you can try and remove were your getting errors just make sure you dont dummy out too much of the rip or your might not get all the information... $3 costers suck
57  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: firmware f900 for hitachi 47: for extract Security Sectors on: June 27, 2006, 04:12:50 PM
1. Wrong Post
2. If your gettin more than CRC errors at 91136 then your disc is probably to scratched or your drive cant read something else on the disc, something thats probably important, what game?
58  Research & Technical XboxHacking (Xbox 360) / Software (TECHNICAL) / Hitachi Images on: June 18, 2006, 11:17:59 PM
Stupid question for an intellegent individual or two,
Since we've been blessed with the wonderful abilities to back-up our games (props to all, good work all around)...

... If I rip a disk image with my Hitachi 46, can I use an SS found on the net to make a working image?

Probably sound like an idiot here but I've been reading through here all week and haven't got any solid answer yet, and it was about time to sign up  Grin
