3  General / XboxHacker Site Discussion / Re: The best Xbox hacking site is back! on: March 01, 2013, 03:16:38 AM
I wish it would be sold or handed down to someone who has the time/energy and resources to keep this site going.
Would not want anything chaged. Just that the problems would be solved.

Just dreaming out loud.

Who owns the site and who has server access?
There have been so many problems with this site. Seems to me it might get abbandoned if it goes on like this.

8  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Xbox 360 PSU Thermal sensor location? on: July 31, 2012, 06:34:52 AM
Im building a fan mod for the PSU.
Where is the thermal sensor located?

Edit;
Found it on one of jasper PSU's. Its underside of the PSU (under the metal shield) Marked as TH if i remember it correctly (thermal resistor) near the Fan connector.
Have not found it on xenon PSU... maybe they dont have any.

10  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Demon Jasper 16mb RGH 2.0 Falcon timing on: July 15, 2012, 08:31:31 AM
Jasper 16mb is booting fine with RGH 2.0 falcon timing and all seems dandy but falcon xsvf does not turn off CR when i try to boot to stock dash.
Can anyone make a new RGH 2.0 falcon timing with Demon support to disable CR when im booting to stock dash.
I do tick the "demon" box when im writing the xfvs file but still nothing. :S

I would use other timing filed but falcon is the only one that works really.

Original file.

If your using their jRunner then you HAVE to select RGH1 for Trinity
12  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Slim error 0010 after ~40sec on: July 03, 2012, 04:42:50 AM
Took this console out of todo bin.

It seems it was flux residue or some other residue that was causing this problem.
Took a toothbrush and alcohol and just cleaned the board. Alltough all visible residue had long been cleaned before this problem even started but i guess something got stuck under a smd cap or res that i never even soldered to. Has been working for 20min as we speak.

Case closed Smiley
13  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Slim error 0010 after ~40sec on: June 28, 2012, 03:11:28 AM
xbox 360 slim gets red dot and 0010 error code after about 40sec of working. If i turn it off and on again then the 0010 error is instant.
If i leave the console unpluged for some time i can again use the console for 40sec and AGAIN same scenario.

What might be causing this? What can i check?

Arctic freezer Pro 7.

I just removed the original clamps from coolers and used xbox X-clamps in reverse... works great Tongue

Arctic Pro 7 CPU and GPU. Ram heatsinks.

Only problem is ia can not get my PSU to quiet down. At first its all good but after half an hour it spins up. I have compared a lot of PSU's and the one i have now is the most noisless...
16  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: xbox slim only dings. had bad smc. acts as if bad stby_clk on: May 24, 2012, 06:41:20 AM
Did you check the resistors around hana?
Those are known culprits for the "chime" problem.
Usually the 33ohm resistors fry

But as you say after every reflow it worked... so its probably not that.

I have allso had similiar problem with a slim and after every nand replacement it would work aslong as the power cord would be connected. but after cord was removed for 15sec consol would only chime. What fixed it for me was putting the console into oven for 6 hours on 75'c and letting its sit few days just cause i did not have time to mess with it. Finally it started working normally. RGH'd it, sold it. buyer never complained.

Thnx m8 (Y)
I will give it a shot

Edit: Actually it was a lot simpler then i thought. You just need to wire the 4gb MU to 250gb RGH xbox and it just works.... no need to mess with KV
Sometimes i feel stupid for not trying before asking... other times i feel REALLY stupid for trying before asking Cheesy

On slim arcade 4G XEKEY_POLICY_FLASH_SIZE is set to 0xFFFFFFFF (which is... 4GB-1) and XEKEY_POLICY_BUILTIN_USBMU_SIZE is set to 0x00000000
