1321  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: JTAG Header not Working? on: January 12, 2010, 05:22:24 PM
it still mystifies me why people flash over their nand without 100% matching dumps

nandcompare is a good idea but complete bull$#!t if you ask me and i wouold never ever flash an image that was built with it.

without the correct hand image how do you know that the compiled image is the same? you dont!!

and as for the dash loading ok that means nothing wait til you try to use a file in the NAND that has bits missing or corrupt.

anyways you have lifted the top ring of the JTAG point? have you tried the same hole on the underside of the board?

on the underside there are traces leading to the southbridge, if ypu GENTLY scrape one of the traces to expose the copper line without breaking it you can tack the line to the trace.

but to be honest if you f***ed the pad up, you have no chance of tacking to a trace without doing even more damage, perhaps best to give ot to some1 who wont mess it up no offence.
1322  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Remove dash update from HDD? on: January 12, 2010, 05:17:01 PM
Thanks a lot guys! I already have XBR_Falcon_8955_3a running, but I was just nervous about hooking up my HDD and having it update me to an unexploitable system. I'm going to go ahead and remove R6T3 to be safe. I've heard if I ever need it back, I can use a 10k resistor and remove it again after use, right?

the dash you are afraid of loading was found on your NAND chip before you flashed XBR, not on your hard drive.

removing r6t3 is optional, ive done several systems now without removing it with no problems (wont know until next dash update for sure)

any updates taken in the XBR environment will blow virtual fuses, not the real ones so you should be ok, but in long term may be bestto do so.

if you need it back you can solder in a resistor or a switch, then remove when done yes.
1323  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Copy profile/saves from banned system to brand new system w/500gb xbr on: January 12, 2010, 05:12:16 PM
i used CONsign

on xbins

and used the kv.bin from my new console that i wanted the games to load

also had to use oldest 360flashtool to extract kv.bin as the newer ones wouldnt extract it correctly due to an offset error.
1324  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Copy profile/saves from banned system to brand new system w/500gb xbr on: January 12, 2010, 09:14:56 AM
you need to run the saves through con resigner not con flag remover

obtain kv from new system and use it with app to resign saves to your new consoleid then they will load

it is in fact the beginning of RROD, iff the system was to run for long enough it would eventually RROD

1326  General / XboxHacker Site Discussion / Re: How can I recover a DVD Key from a BENQ VAD6038?? on: January 10, 2010, 12:01:23 PM
check the kernal revision of dash in system settings

if it is 7371 or lower you can get the dvd key from the mobo by dumping the NAND

tuts for that on the forum or see http://free60.org

depends on the depth and size of scratch, most likely no
1328  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: XBOX 360 Media Update and Banning on: January 10, 2010, 11:53:04 AM
the media update can be found online if you look im not providing links as it is illegal to do so.

it can be put on your HDD with a transfer cable withou having to go near live.
1329  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: 512MB corrupt nand + 512MB good nand, No KV but got CPU keys on: January 10, 2010, 11:49:00 AM
i may be wrong but i think u can take the NAND dump from the good console and encrypt it with the CPU key of the knackered one and put it into it, cloning the good 360 if you will, in the same way that some people have unbanned their consoles.

defo wouldnt work on live if the first has been on live.

if i am wrong i apologise and hope that some1 more in the know corrects me, but i think im right!!
1330  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Can't create profile on: January 10, 2010, 11:46:22 AM
banned consoles lose the ability to create signed content so may stop you from being able to creat new profiles dont knoiw never tried it on my banned console

try dumping the NAND and using findsecdata to set your secdata to 00000 to see if that allows you to create new profiles

tuts for that are on the forum use the search

i already answered you with the ONLY way to recover the drive

10 sec trick with a via chipset will allow you to flash over the bricked drive with the correct fw

put dosflash16 and ripping fw onto bootable media

boot to dos and type dosflash

when you get option to choose port turn drive off wait 10 secs power on then hit button to flash
1332  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: E79 after running the gentoov2 disc on XBRv3b on: January 08, 2010, 08:51:10 PM
I redid the soldering and put some electric tape around both diodes and made sure nothing is making contact with ground because the first time I stuck the wire too deep in one of those solder holes, causing it to touch the bottom of the metal housing.

thats why i remove the board completely when soldering up, then mask and replace when done.

use 10 sec trick with a via chipset to flash the correct fw to the drive

or even better give it to some1 who knows what they are doing because you clearly dont.
1335  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Accessing a Jasper MU on: January 07, 2010, 12:51:57 PM
could it be copied to a memory unit on another console then copied to your own using the dash file manager?

1337  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Benq iXtreme 1.61 issue on: January 06, 2010, 08:01:15 PM
create your 1.61 CFW file in JF but save it to bootable USB and use dosflash16 to write to the drive in dos erase drive also before flash

long shot but hey might work
1338  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: COD mw 2 on: January 06, 2010, 06:57:01 AM
activation disc only works on 1.6 fw and above if i recall correctly if he has older fw it will not do anything.

just update your fw or get some1 to do it for you if you cannot do it yourself.
