to use degraded you need to enter the 1BL key in the options, then create a copy of your nand dump and hex edit the following:

    1) At offset 0x0012 you will see 2004 - 2007 Microsoft Corporation
    2) Change that to 2004 - 2005 Microsoft Corporation
    3) Now you image will open in Degraded.

correct you simply restore the drive specific information overwritten by hddhackr

it does restore the drive to the original state albeit with a different serial number, does it really matter as long as it works in a PC/MAC?

no this is not the issue ive flashed tons of donor images with changed KV etc

100% bad block issue.

open the working dump in 360 flash tool or degraded and check for bad blocks

you need to flash back the original NAND image and run the console through the official m$ update so that it is running the latest NAND natively

then install the Demon, and flash a newly compiled FB image to the Demon 2nd NAND.

use a donor nand theres plenty about check xbins etc

your issue lies with bad blocks and them being mis-managed

incorrect i have used a donor undo.bin to reverse a hddhackr formatted drive to stock.

needs to be from the exact same model of drive tho, any other will not work.

hddhackr only works with western digital drives, if you had read the readme you would have seen that.

is your hitachi hdd an official m$ one or just a standard 2.5" hdd?

if its just a standard drive theres no way you can make it into an xbox 360 hdd, unless you RGH your console.
