The correct way:
1. Remove the powerconnector and wait 2 minutes.
2. Short 41-42-43-44 with a piece of blank wire/screwdriver, make sure you do not touch the middle pins!! all at one time...
3. Connect the powerconnector
4. Carefully remove wire
5. Flash

or just set up the nand to flash and right as you push enter to flash the unit plug in the psu on the back of the 360...

well it's your unit...i won't comment as i don't jerry rig $#!t so...lol
as you know the psu has a fan in it that's your noise...

this nand is bad...but i got it to show in degraded...extracted the kv.bin and it's a no go

now your letting in dust,heat and moisture ...

don't you have the key from the orig hack from back then?
not to mention you still need to short the nand to re-write to it.....

ya when you troubleshoot over 1000 units and re-ball them you kind of have a eye for bad things
and yep just replace the mobo and hook the drive up to don't worry about it not reading disks yet thats your last worry...
you need the drive to boot xell/xellous to get your CPU key...

some because of a bad orig nand read or because of no orig nand need to keep using XBR or no go...even with the patching of the donor files for freeboot it doesn't work 100%...
as i stated before not because a bug in freeboot but a compile or corrupted kv error...
i imagine there just wave patching games though...

yes it would fail..and show a E80 error.....this is why we unsolder R6T3 for that reason(no Efuse gets blown)

i wouldn't go with that second link as the mobo area where the cpu and gpu is...looks overheated way to much...

i myself have never tried..only with the XBOX1 system i have but most were region free so....
maybe someone can chime in an give a better answer on this...

look around on our forums to find the nand shorting cure to re-read your nand using lpt...
does the nand copy even load up in 360flashtool?

i wonder if it's an issue with the console as i never had a problem going from ntsc to pal...never tried pal to ntsc
and this was with XBR_3 only...

you mean e79 error ...bad kv causes Xmas lights or bad jtag wiring...check them both
if you have a way to send me your nand copy's i can check them...

if you have a stock dash of 8XXX and up you can not install XBR or freeboot.
even some 7371 stock dashes wont work because of the CB being locked(no jtaggable)..

here is your nand1.bin in degraded ...you might want to move them bad blocks or just,
 reflash to them to see what happens..



even giving you a donor nand won't help re-writing them bad blocks as far as i know.
but anything is worth a try...first redo them bad blocks..
