Some really interesting insight there, thank you for putting it in layman's terms, Blackaddr. I actually understood most of that, at least conceptually Cheesy

A month and a half after leaving the Reset Glitch Hack Tiros gligli and a new hack compatible with all HDMI consoles and that whatever the kernel, we still had not seen any reaction from Microsoft. We learn today with one of our technicians, stephane76700, the answer was already in your resellers ... a new revision of motherboard.

This motherboard has been found in a pack Forza 4250 Go, these new consoles with a matte black shell. The MFR date visible in the back is 2011-08-17 and the reader a Liteon 1071.

The biggest surpise is the absence of HANA chip (visible anyway) is the chip that allowed the management of the timing Reset Glitch Hack ...

It seems that the game of cat and mouse continues so ...

It seems that the method discovered by staff of "Cursos Games" is being accepted!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCrrpaKp42I&feature=player_embedded#at=289

This method was found in day 03/08/11 as shown in the video below

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGq3KKJcAz4

I wouldn't call using a different tool to make the hole, a new method, per se. I wouldn't expect any recognition if I did it with a fork for instance.

Geremia was the first to bring it to public attention, and it has been dubbed the kamikaze method.

I'm happy to stick with that.

Hi Jrmc0

I have a question too.

Couldn't you have taken the time to read through this thread first, before asking a question that has been answered over and over?

Regardless of that, do you not think if it was that easy, people would have been doing that ages ago, rather than taking the huge risk that this method presents?

Honestly, it's like an insult to Geremias intelligence. And everybody else that has been working on it at that level.

Seems the chip had re-locked somehow, dabbed the hole with a bit of isopropyl alcohol on a sock (I'm all out of cotton buds/q-tips lol), and it unlocked again.

Write verified OK !
Restore verified OK !

Happy days Cheesy

Just a few twists of the iron each time, with a bit of pressure. Started hearing crackling through the speakers in time with the twisting of the iron, thought it was taking too long so stopped for a while, thought I had gone too far.

Decided to carry on, because if it was already f***ed....

Few more twists of the iron and I heard the beep. I think JungleFlasher uses Windows default beep, so maybe you should make sure you haven't disabled windows sounds.

in your bios how did u set sata port? raid? achi? why dont you try with via 6421 or lizard or x360 usb?

i do all my 360s this way, i chance computer when i hear that this or that the other chipset is better, now im using Intel ICH7, and the SATA is ICHI
Change it to IDE mode or Compatibility mode or something like that, not RAID or ACHI.

If you have problems booting windows after changing the mode, use this fix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976

Dude, get rid of that f***ing picture, it's turning my stomach

Looks like you all owe HKFenixgamesDD an apology too, jumping on the hate bandwagon for no good reason.

Use dremel with 0,8mm diamond engraver.
Dremel (genuine) is about 40-70$ Engraver is probably 5-10$  and you allso need a new spindle for the engraver 2$ maybe.
Engraver and spindle? It's all one part. "Dremel 105 0.8mm" http://tinyurl.com/3k77dle
Sorry i ment collet (engrish is my native tounge Cheesy)
This http://www.dremel.com/en-us/Accessories/Pages/ProductDetail.aspx?pid=481
for this http://www.dremeleurope.com/dremelocs-ee/product/2738/104/graveerimisotsakud/graveerimisotsak-0,8-mm
The collet that comes with dremel is for larger shank bits.

Ah! I didn't realise that. Thanks for letting me know Smiley
