yeah there smd resistors, you need them to make the drive function properly - the one on the right (R709) is 100 Ohms and the one on the left (R710) is 10k (Ohms). It can be fixed s don't worry Go to your local electronics store, grab 1 of each (they will be bigger, don't worry about this). Solder a wire (28 gauge wire) to each pad and put the resistor in the middle of those wires, and solder that...BUT, since you knocked them off (and your using a probe XD) I would HIGHLY recommend sending it to someone (PM if interested) gigabite

250GB HDD's....in 2.5", your right....I can get one for $88AU (at almost direct wholesale price, regardless of how many I buy) - if M$ bought millions (well god knows how many) the price might drop down to $60AU per HDD if not less - as for 2.5" drives costing double, not true (for me anyway)
ah well, wait and see

jesus, to much reading of n00b forums...it's probably just a scratch in the disk, once in crackdown - 1 time ! if every other game is working then it's a scratch, if not - do cooling mods

^^I only experienced this when me and robinsod were trying homemade converters....the code was correct and everything was 100% perfect as verified by robinsod and geremia yet for some obscenely strange reason it would not work.
