Hey everyone I pulled my PSU appart a little while back and made some notes of stuff, but never got around to releasing the notes.  This is an Australian PSU...so here they are - note I didn't compltely rip everything appart just basic analisys

*LOTS (i'm talking a $#!t load) of white glue, NOT artic silver, smells like glue and it's texture is simliar to artic silver except it has teh glue smell and artic silver is more sort of sticky...
*Glue turns black when rubbed with a paper towel
*Inside it's got a 3 pin connecter (inside the power brick it's male) on the board it's female, with wire colours, blue,black,red (this is the same for the male/female clips) and the female one is right next to the power (the one you plug into the wall)
*Fuse is T5AH 250v (used in power supplys I have seen - you can buy replacement ones from jaycar)
*Status led is tri led :p
*This PSU was made by Delta...interesting to note if you rember these are teh same people that made the XB1 PSU
*Red Line (on power connecter that connects to XB360) is +5vsb
*Blue Line (on power connecter that connects to XB360) is (it's right next to the connecter that connect to the wall BUT it's not joined)
* TWO Grounds...One is GND_RS the other is GND
*Interesting numbers:
200-240 voc
2.7A
47-83Hz
*On the 3 pin connecter on the board (teh female one) has black glue on it, stuck to teh board...with some force I pulled it off...the words next to the glue are:
DPNS - 186c P
295402090 (maybe this is the same glue used in teh 78's I haven't seen or touched the glue that they use but it could be similar?)

Those are my notes on the PSU, these could be helpfull to some people (and I suspect things like fuse numbers etc will be) or not? :p

errrrrr to make it play back ups in the console you want the drive in you will need to put tehy key on it derrrr, otherwise teh drive will function as a DVD player basically!!! Ow and how do you know that it hasn't been flashed back to origional state :p ha got ya!!

DO NOT FLASH YOUR DRIVE IF YOUR ORIG.BIN IS ONLY 65kb IT SHOULD BE 256kb, if you do you will end up with a nice white DVD player :p

read acrefully, READ THE FLASH MANUALLY WITH mtkflash r /sata /m orig.bin then check that it's 256kb, then use make a or b (and use Xtreme 5.0) then flash it like so....mtkflash w /sata/ /m whateveryourfinalhackedfirmwarefileis.bin


all done, lucky you don't get flammed or post locked!!!

Hey guys, I am trying to find a new (or second hand - ok quality) original black xbox case...I have searched on eBay but nothing, also searched sites like team executer etc but also nothing.  All I actually need is the top half of the case (with the jewel on the top) but I am willing to pay for the rest of it....if anyone can fine me a link IN AUSTRALIA or PM me if they have one I would be happy!!

Do not tip the console from flat to straight this will cause the scratches on this outside of the disk, also if you aren't doing this then visit llama (type Xbox 360 llama in g00gle) and they will show you how to add foam pads to your dvd drive to stop scratching, also allows you to tilt the console from flat to straight or vice versa

I used the make files a and b and I had no problems (actually with 4.2A I had problems with originals but nothing a rest didn't fix, other people have had problems with this also) but not 5.0 is out so move on or keep crying no one cares what you do either way :p
