Hey guys, as promised here is my video tutorial on how to [remove epoxy, remove flash and clean] prepare to hack a Hitachi 79 (this tutorial also applies to any other Hitachi drive - minus the epoxy bit if your drive has none)...you even get to here me voice !! [wich sounds nothing like it in real life] - now you may notice in the video when I am actually removing the TSOP from the board it looks like I push it real hard...not true, it was the cameras fault...you may also notice that there is a tiny bit of epoxy already removed, this is because this is a board I got for repair...Now all of you who couldn't follow/understand TMF's video (and those who asked for it) can be happy

Hi guys, well i've been trying for the past 2 days to get the mc360 theme for XBMC from Blackbolts site but the link is bad...can ANYONE give me the LATEST ("SVN Revision: 964") mc360 theme please ?  I've searched everywhere for alternate downloads but maybe one of you guys have it on your computer or Xbox or know an alternative site ?

g00gle rjbtech....5v will operate the fans but it's not enough to power a radiator/pump (usually 12v is required)..[would post the site...but no mouse on this school computer...using tab :p)...oh also, if the GPU stays at a current temp of say 45 degrees max (I reckon it'd be lower anywho) then when the pump is turned off it won't get any hotter...it will stay hot and cool...however 45 degrees isn't gonna do any dammage so really I would advise using a seperate power supply...I would suggest attaching any pumps etc to the 360 (also so you don't forget to turn it on !!, in wich case it will shut off after it reaches 70 degrees...but that is enough to start causing damage)

Powerfull torch
Dark Room
Xbox 360
Backed-Up game to test

1. Put the 360 in teh dark room and make sure it's totaly pitch black (do it at night)
2. Get your torch and turn it on, flick it back and forth on the 360's case...do it for 28 minutes
3. Test your back up

yeh i've seen that tide kit used on a stock 360 case...actually makes it look really cool (but I still prefer going with what xboxxpert did on XBS...even though it costs...though, Koolance has kits (depends where you are, might be cheaper to order separate parts instead))

It's 512kb chip and as Arakon said LPC...so post some pics and stuff, check the number on the chip "SST nnllnnn[l]" (number number letter letter number number number [letter - because not all of them have a last letter])

or you could go with the cheap option...up the fan voltage, chuck on some AS5...[the next part is excess...but it works] add 2 more fans - one 40mm one to the CPU heatsink and one XBOX 1 fan (30mm with the fan only so it looks like a helicopter blade)

you said you bought it modded and the seal is still good...so yeah probably fraud - any who...if the box has the warranty sticker you can return it (as long as the sticker is nice...not $#!tty), probably won't come back with the same drive and as a result it will need to be re flashed when you get it back (although I had a friend who sent in his console 3RL...he got the exact same mobo and drive back (M$ repaired the mobo) and this was only around 3 weeks ago...but that is RARE)
